COMPANIES THAT ALREADY USE US

On a strictly like for like basis i.e. if a nursery was to produce food to the exact same standard that we do using Care Catering I believe we would actually save the nursery money. This is because we have enormous purchasing power compared to the average nursery and so where we do pay staff more and have delivery costs and premises to rent our raw materials cost us less as we buy in larger quantities.

However I would say that we produce food way above the standard found in virtually all nurseries and so when committing to using Care Catering many nurseries do find us a little more expensive than they would have paid for catering on site themselves as the standard of food would not be on a like for like basis. So the nurseries that use us receive excellent value for money for the quality of service we provide but they also demonstrate that quality is an issue that they are willing to pay for and are putting standards before cost. An excellent tribute to any of our customers.

I once had a meeting with a woman that proudly boasted of her 90pence a day raw food material costs which is far lower than ours. However looking at her menu she had ‘pasta with two tomato sauce’ as one of her dishes (maybe Heinz and Cross and Blackwell I don’t know) no meat or vegetables in it and this was the main lunch. Also sausages and smash potatoes and beans was another one which would account for more than a days intake of salt in one meal. When looking at value for money the quality of the product, not just the price, needs to be taken into consideration otherwise no one would ever buy a bmw!

Some catering companies do not have a good reputation however we do. All our clients are happy to provide verbal or written references for us. We would encourage any concerned parents to come and talk to us to see that we truly are passionate about what we do and to see our state of the art kitchens. We are totally transparent in what we do and love when a new customer comes to see us or talk to a concerned parent about any aspect of our food.
